BATTLE FOR FIRST PLACE
SEASON 2019
PE will continue to be Technical Partner and main sponsor of the T Sport Racing Team in the 2019 season. The team from the UK will also race in the FIA European Truck Championship as well as the British Truck
Racing Championship. Once again the experienced pilot Terry Gibbon takes the wheel.
Free teams, who fight for their best with passion, are what gives it that extra something of motorsport. That's why PE is on board at T Sport and provides technical support, with popular and race-proven products such as the high-performance brake disc or the Racing wheel nut.
COOL DESPITE 600°C IN THE SHADE
The intensive cooperation between racing teams and PE developers, over the last few years, has enabled individually produced products, for example, a wheel nut optimised for race use and capable of withstanding the forces of a collision as well as enabling quick removal during the face. Teams in the FIA European Truck Racing Championship will be using this special development in the 2016 race season.
Success with PE products
Brake discs are exposed to extremely high forces on the race track. During the race, the brakes are heated to temperatures of up to 600 ℃ and must constantly be cooled with cold water. For this reason, the design, the manufacturing quality and the material specification of the brake disc are all essential to ensure that the disc neither breaks during the race, nor does it constantly need replacing.
